We founded Arkansas Frontier over 20 years ago with a passion for Arkansas and to make history a more fun experience for everyone. We envisioned a place where families could come and learn with their children not only about what the Natural State has to offer, but also the story behind our state. Agriculture and farming has always been a huge part of the Arkansas story and to our family.
We want to help people find new ways to enjoy Arkansas and once a year in October we host a Living History Farm festival to bring the history of our state back to life. The rest of the year, we are busy traveling the state and finding interesting things you will want to experience with your family.
Getting outdoors is the best way to experience our great state and our mission is to create as many opportunities for you and your family to get out in nature as possible. In addition to our annual Living History Farm festival we are busy creating Arkansas travel guides and check-lists so that regardless of whether you are looking to vacation in Arkansas or you’ve lived here your whole life, you still find new fun activities to explore.
We still remember the first year we opened. We were both full time teachers, and we still are, our lessons are just all outdoors these days. Our hope is you will come exploring with us, either by visiting our farm or following us along in our travels of the Natural State.
