Imagine traveling across the country in a covered wagon as the early settlers did. The early American pioneers had this as their only means of transporting their family and goods from place to place. On a good day they may have only traveled about 10 miles. When you come to visit make sure to get some great pictures of you and your family at the covered wagon, and while you are there stop and think how it might have felt to travel across country in such a slow moving vehicle.
While you are taking a picture feel free to ask some of the Arkansas Frontier staff about some of the different uses of the covered wagon as well as some other interesting facts about early pioneer living.
