The Indian Village lets you know what life was like for the Native Americans. Many arrowheads and spearheads have been found on this property from when the Native Americans hunted for wild game that was plentiful in this area. This is also a wonderful opportunity to find out how Native-American culture has affected today’s society as well as find out how they lived along side the early pioneers.
Early Native-Americans knew very well how to live off the land and can be largely credited to the well-being of the early settlers enduring harsh winters. There were many different tribes of Native-Americans throughout the region, each of which learned to survive in slightly different ways.
